“~of~” 與名詞's

1.有生命的所有格
(1) 單數：名詞's：Mary's bicycle, the old man's shoes
(2) 複數：名詞s'：the students' playground, girls' bike

2. 無生命的所有格
the + 所有物+ of + 所有者
如： the door of the house (房子的門)
the leaves of the trees (樹的葉子)
注意：翻譯要從後面往前翻。
