八里河邊戲水; Fun on the Bali beach

這一段的淡水河真的很像湖一般的美

This part of Danshui River is more a beautiful lake than a river to me.

有圖中白帆的點綴，整個景超有度假的感覺

It felt like being on a relaxing vacation with the view of a white windsurfing boat in the middle.

河水拍打河岸的聲音跟浪濤聲一樣抒壓

Listening to the sound of water tapping the bank is also a great way to relieve stress.

這是他們的夏日記憶

有伴真好, 父母只要在一旁休息看著就好

 

今日沒找到螃蟹

但很久沒來了,

玩沙也變有趣了

三級警戒後久違的戶外運動--羽毛球及騎腳踏車; Playing badminton and going bike riding: our long-lost outdoor activities since the level three epidemic alert

一大早就決定去打羽毛球

三個多月沒打羽毛球了

這個地點絶佳

有遮到陽光

當初花了一千二買的輕便羽球架

下午還沒兩點就去騎UBIKE

這是我的標準騎車裝

在高高的河堤上

微風運河廣場上

有不少人在玩風帆

好愜意

There were some people going windsurfing on the Breeze Canal.

It looked so relaxing.

這個最引人注目...

The bright color of this windsurfing attracted me most. 

休息一下, 爸比玩起老鷹捉小雞

母雞只想在一旁休息...

Jack played hawk-catching-chicken game.

I should be the protecting hen.

But I didn't play the game.

I just enjoyed the view around me.

二寶被抓到, 大寶自信地走開...

Mark was caught.

Eric walked away triumphantly.

We haven't spent our weekend like before for three months.

                         Since the level 3 epidemic alert, the only outdoor activity during the weekend was merely a walk along the river bank in the evening.

                  I miss the bike ride so much and the joy of playing sports. 

                           ( I also missed the swimming pool...) 

This weekend, we finally played badminton  and went bike riding.

                        It seemed the good old days were back a little.

全家合力完成的拼圖 jigsaw puzzles finished during stay-at-home June

這盒拼圖放櫃子超過六年了, 

終於在居家上班上課的日子, 

被找出來, 

全家全力完成, 

真有成就感!

This 300-piece jigsaw puzzles had been put in the cabinet for more than six years.

I almost forgot it until this June.

We worked from home and kids had their distant learning at home.

Space was traded for time.

Piece by piece, we  had a good time finishing the puzzles together.
