太魯閣合歡山捻花惹草之旅

What a wonderful trip to Taroko National Park and Mt. Ho-Huan!
The scenery was majestic and the mountain flowers were blossomy in various colors and shapes. The mountains above 3000 meter are awe-inspiring and full of incredible natural beauty; however they are also dangerous at this altitude. Trekkers have to watch every step:firmly not to fall and slowly not to have altitude sickness.

attribute and contribute的差別

• attribute 歸功, 歸因 ,後加 to;

• contritue 捐贈及促成,後也加to;

attribute 主詞常是人，動詞後加結果，to後加原因 (人＋attribute+結果＋to+原因)

contribute前加結果，後加原因　（原因+contribute+結果)

例句：他的成功歸因於他的努力。

We can attribute his success to hard work.

(or His success can be attributed to hard work.)

也可以用

Hard work contributes to his success.　（努力工作造就他的成功）

Danshui Sunset

The beautiful sunset of Danshui River on July 21, 2007.

It was hot as blazes in the afternoon, but in the evening, on the bank of Danshui River, it was breezy and cool. Lots of people sat near the bank watch and take pictures of the sunset. Though, it took me almost an hour to get there from Xin Dian, the view was well worth the effort.

rise,raise,arise, and arouse

• rise,升起　(rose,risen)

It's hard to stay at home and keep away from TV and air-conditioning on a hot summer day.
